That sounds farmilar, but don’t remember it....he must have made hundreds of film over his career. I always liked him in Red River, thats an oldie but goody, geeze there were so many....Elvis may have been king, but Duke was THE MAN....

Horse Soldiers is very close,,,

He waved at us as the parade came down the street for the

opening at the Strand theater,,,

We were on the 2nd floor in my Dad's office,,,

Dad whistled at him and he looked up,,,

One of my proudest times was at the USO Show in Dec.’67,,,

We could hear the crowd from 3-4 miles away,,,

Didn't get to see,,,

Our unit covered The Duke's back!...Waay Koool!...;0)

It showed a less secure Duke. As the pilot of a transport plane, he shows fear of not being found and of making the right decisions.
It was a good movie and highly recommend it.
