North to Alaska...With Stewart Granger if memory serves me correct...
He made a movie called “No Island In The Sky” about a Airforce transport that crashed landed in the artic.
He was good in that.
McClintock is one of my favorites. Rio Lobo is another I would add.

My faves of are all but especially Searchers.
I know why (Hollywood is lib) but we need our kids to see movies like this. I also loved Jimmy Cagney in his patriotic movie Yankee Doodle Dandee!!!
That was one of the all time great movie...written, directed and starred in by (whats his name) oh yea Orson Wells,
I have seen it. It was a good movie and it showed the Duke had a sense of humor.
They dont make them like that anymore.
Randolf Scott was a wonderful cowboy star and one of my favorites but the Duke will always be number one!

Thank you, I remember enjoying that one.
Blood Alley with Big Mike & Lauren Bacall is worth an Honorable Mention.
Filmed in Marin County, Ca. at China Camp State Park. The wharf and other landmarks still exist, a nice field trip after watching my scratchy old VHS tape.
“The Searchers,” “She Wore a Yellow Ribbon,” and “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence.”
