Your suggestion of History of the World, Part 2, reminded me of the worst Mel Brooks movie, and a contender for worst of all time: Silent Movie. Even Burt Reynolds couldnt save that movie. Was there really a "History of the World, Pt2?" I thought it was just a part of Pt1!
And Silent Movie? The only thing in the movie that I thought was funny (and genius) was the only spoken word in the movie was "No!" by Marcel Marceau!

You are right about HOTW, it was ‘Part 1’. Now I remember some ‘commercials’ for a Part II at the end of the movie.

Hah! as if Burt Reynolds could save any movie. He comes across as a down to earth guy so might be fun to hang with, but he couldn't act his way out of a kindergarten play.
