"For better or worse, till death do we part (or betrayal). So much for vows!"

**********

Here's some vows:

Matthew 19 (New International Version)

9 "I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery."

[snip]

17 "Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments."

18 "Which ones?" the man inquired.

Jesus replied, " 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony,

19 honor your father and mother,' and 'love your neighbor as yourself.'"

*****************

A tough line to walk, to be sure, or so it may seem. Which is tougher in the Long Run?

Matthew 19:5-6 (Douay-Rheims)
For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they two shall be in one flesh.

Therefore now they are not two, but one flesh. That therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder.

Seems like a hard call to split not two, but one flesh!
