There are two really superior conspiracy theories out there in the world which I know of. One is the Illig/Heinsohn theory which says that we are probably living around 1700 years after Christ and not 2000 years; the other is the thing about
the ark starship on the back side of the moon. There could be only one purpose for a space vehicle of that size, IF the basic story is true which is a big if; the purpose would be to evacuate one or more cities completely out of our solar system. The ship in the pictures, again assuming the film footage isn't made up, would be one which did not get off for whatever reason.
The flood and the two or three later events which Velikovsky wrote about would have been the final chapter in a series of catastrophes. People living in our system before the series of disasters began would have had no way to know if anything in our system would remain habitable at all; you'd assume at least some of them would try to get out.
THAT might be what an ark is supposed to look like...

The last of the Apollo flights was #17, iow, the footage shot from Apollo 20 is something that doesn't exist. What would have been the Apollo 20 CSM *I think* is on the lawn of the local museum here, but I won't swear to it. There is a CSM there, it was used for a drop test come to think of it, lost in the Pacific, recovered by a Soviet ship, and returned in an act of goodwill. Or somethin'.
