One of my greatest travel regrets in not finding time to visit this world wonder when in Paris. Had to take time for the domestic flight to Lourdes after visiting Notre Dame; Louvre; etc

Christians were worshiping the light of the sun through the windows .... Stupid leftists

The symbolic connection between the light of the sun and god's light is deliberate and intentional. Christianity has never minimized this or been the least bit embarassed by it. Indeed, why do you think the church spent so much on windows in the first place?

Not everything in the world is a left-wing plot, even if it seems we are getting awfully close these days.

Yes but christians do not worship the sun or light. That was clearly stated.

They worship God.

I remember studying the cathedrals in college. Chartres was my favorite. Absolutely beautiful structure.
