We’ve been without power for almost an hour; it’s finally back on.
The wind was pushing my truck around as I drove home from work this evening.
It is SO still up here now. I just went out and listened. No wind - no rain - nothing. Just a spooky stillness.
Glad you got home safe from work, and that you got your power back on.
I have an oil lantern, lit, in my living room - just in case we lose our power, too, and a candle in the bathroom, and a flashlight with new batteries, next to my chair.
I have the scanner on - trees and rocks are falling all over the highways, but no major accidents that I have heard.
