Here’s the part I don’t understand: Why in the heck would anyone want to live in Lubbock in the first place?

I’ve been through there a couple of times and I agree. I’m a Texan, but I wouldn’t want to live in the panhandle.

Well I know Lubbock isn’t for everyone - it has been voted one of the most conservative cities in America, is a capital for cotton, oil and cattle.... but some people don’t appreciate good American values.

To get away from the liberal hellholes of Dallas, Houston, Beaumont, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso and the hostile border towns.
