Art Bell told some caller many years ago on open lines he doesn’t discuss politics because you can get that elsewhere. If it is making big headlines in the news, he will discuss it, but he doesn’t make it a large part of his show.

Punnet totally turns me off, so I turn him off...

It might as well be called “The Ian Punnet show - interviewing Ian Punnet” when he’s on, because he talks incessantly, asks the guests a question and then walks all over them when they try to answer.

Then he gets into arguments with guests, because he seems to have very strong and narrow religious views, so he frowns on people he disagrees with.

Noory is much better. So is Knapp. But Punnet is a waste of time.
Art is still the best.

I predict they will remain, even though, if they've just GOT to be there in case anyone who comes here forgets about them for one second in the next couple of years, one could be placed atop the Forums page--that way, we'd all still be forced to see them, but they'd be like white noise to us regulars, and the newbies who come along would still get the full impact.

I am not a Romney supporter of course, but enough already.

If we must have this--how about the same messages, but different pictures of Sarah Palin instead of Romney? She's more fun to look at.

Oh, and I predict that Art Bell will still be a nutball with a slimy past who has the goofiest of callers outside of Air America.

In every picture I've seen of him, Bell looks downright creepy. I'm talking...well, I don't want to smear the guy's name so I won't say what I think he looks like.

But how a conservative could listen to his show with any degree of seriousness, I have no idea. It's the talk radio equivalent of Ed Wood movies.

• Auto production cut in half.

Misses (Bonks):

• New monarch on English throne.
• Proof that Bigfoot exists.
• SETI signal detected.
• Government takes gold back.
• Russia flexes military might.
• A blimp will crash.
• Obama brings peace to Middle East.

Pandemic was a hit? Because of the flu? Uh, I don't think so. Stock market fell below 7000 for a minute, is pushing 10000 again. Zero's honeymoon was over in 100 days -- other than his ongoing dominance relationship with the party-line straight-ticket morons who (it is possible) will never admit he was a big mistake.
