While some would alarm all-around abating a theory, others would alarm it a accurate set of facts. Opinions alter vehemently. Let us accede all-around abating to be both a apriorism that the ambiance of the apple as we apperceive it is slowly, but actual absolutely accretion in all-embracing air and baptize temperature, and a affiance that if whatever is causing this trend is not disconnected or challenged activity on apple will dynamically be affected.

Like in “The Hunt for Red October” when they could hear the Russian submariners singing on the sonar monitor. You’re probably violating EPA regulations by playing metal to whales and seals.

LOL, I hear tell that Bosuns are like that.
(I was an Army artillery dog though. So I don’t know much besides what I’ve been told.)

Only seals. Whales aren’t sighted much, but the other day a seal beached on one of the small boat docks. We spent an hour watching the station people try to chase it away. Eventually it left on its own.
The seals here are sort of like coons or geese. You can’t really do anything about them, and you’d get in trouble if you tried to.

Yeah, it’s like that where Aunt Ruth lives around L.A. She hates seals! You could hear them barking from her condo if the wind was right, like hearing the train from our house.

Our bosun is cool. Although apparently bosuns are all pretty similiar. Ours is a CWO2 (BM-type.) He has a fan club aboard. So does XO, who used to be a BM as well and is now an O-5.

Hadn’t heard that Dream Theater was still out there.
Of course, nothing good can come of this.

Ah, and a remix to make the whales flee:

There are coons here, too, of course. I was on watch a couple weeks ago and saw one on the dock at about 0100. It was a well-off coon, too..probably weighed about 20 pounds.

Uh oh, an XO that’s “one of us”.. That’s ripe for all kinds of pranks.
Spawned by him of course.
Not that I know anything about prankster officers.
*cough* 1Lt Foley. *cough*

“Great, he’s gone. Let’s GET RID of this ammo!” -the XO.

I think the XO spends as much time in the paint locker or out on deck hanging out with us as he does working. He has a comic strip, too..posts up a new installment in the messdeck every day that we’re underway. Most of it makes fun of the chiefs and JO’s.

I listen to Dream Theater every once in a while, when I’m in the mood for loud noises and bad moods. I like this remix, though.

Eating from the garbage bins. Coons (possums, nutria, catz, coyotes ...) love military bases.

No, it came from the commercial shipyard next door. I was standing up on the bridge and watched it come in under the chain-link, wander around, and leave again.

They throw away food at the commercial shipyard, too.

There are cats on base. They hang around the base galley hoping the FS’s will give them handouts. Also about a thousand seagulls, ducks, loons, wierd stork-type waterbirds, and the occasional Great Blue Heron. This morning I watched a bunch of the seagulls eat a starfish.
Gives you something to watch.

I'd been looking for who did the song “Lie” for ages.
I should have known, of course, from how the stutter beats and segue-ways throughout the song.

From what you know so far of EVA from the Bradamante tale, would that remix of DT’s song “Lie” suit the robotic little hellion?

Heh. They have a new album out, I think. Bill keeps telling me to listen to it. I’ll probably get around to doing that eventually..
He hero-worships the drummer for the band. Mike something, I think.

Might. I really like it, and I usually hate remixes of songs.

I liked Tempesta back when he was with Rob Zombie.
Now that he’s on other projects, he doesn’t seem to have the same -I dunno- fire?
Then you got Blasko and Riggs with their side project “Scum of the Earth”.
*sigh*
And Rob is trying his hand at directing.
(?!Wha?!)

Actually, it fits my character Mitch pretty well..he’s got this girlfriend (sorta) who happens to be an infamous cannibal murderess. And a stoner brother who is also a lot of fun, but that’s beside the point.
