Season 8 Premiers on SUNDAY NIGHT, January 17 with a TWO hour opening episode at 9 Eastern.
On Monday night we are treated to ANOTHER two hour episode again starting at 9 Eastern.
Hard to tell which way this episode will swing...back to the tough as nails UN-PC style or will we get more handwringing and Islamo-Gaia Love like last year?

This season starts off in NYC with Jack trying to establish a 'normal' life with his daughter. But...some stuff goes down at the UN and "that's when the day starts to go wrong" as Jack puts it...

Season 6...Gredenko was working with CTU, being tracked. Abu Fayed met Gredenko at the Santa Monica Pier and found the tracker. It was Fayed who cut off Gredenko's arm, to throw off Jack and his team. To partially redeem himself before dying, Gredenko narc'd out Fayed in the bar, and Jack subdued him.
Later on, Fayed decided to hang around...

Exactly but I though Jack was being hypocritical when he was yelling at Renee for cutting off the guy's thumb.
On Day 2 Jack cut off a child molester's head with a hacksaw in order to get back undercover.
On Day 3 he cut off his partner's hand with an ax in order to prevent a biological attack.
On Day 6 he cut off the finger of the Russian consul with a cigar cutter.
So that’s where Larry Elder went! He’s the head of CTU now!
I believe Cherry Jones also just split up from her longtime woman/wife.
But there are alleys on the NYC sets in Hollywood. So it all works out. :)

Not gonna happen. Jack is an executive producer of the show meaning he helps finance it. Its unlikely he's gonna write himself out of his own show........LOL! Kinda like cutting off your thumb to spite your hand.......
It is starting on Feb 2nd. The Incident (last season’s finale will repeat 1/26.
