The article link doesn’t work. But research into Turner’s Syndrome (only one X, no Y) shows an interesting link between which parent a child gets an X from and their behavior. Women born with Turner’s Syndrome who get their X from their mothers behave in a more masculine way while women with Turner’s Syndrome who get their X from their father behave in more feminine ways. This makes sense since boys get their one X from their mothers and girls get their second X from their fathers.
