Are you familiar enough with the location to know if there is anything to see on google earth?
Is there an ancient civilization there? Possibly.
Is it Plato’s Atlantis? I doubt it. I don’t see how the Greeks would have had contact with a civilization in Cuba and have no written record of it, given the seafaring technology of the time.
If there was an “Atlantis”, the Crete/Santorini theory seems the most plausible.
Google earth doesn’t have the resolution. And if you look at terraserver at the area under cuba you find some likely candidates. The entire island of Cuba and parts of the Bahamas all together would be about the right size for what Plato is discussing.
