What a great historical document.
A collection of such letters would make a fantastic book. They must exist in the millions in the files of Morgenthau and other New Dealers.

I’m certain that my grandfather would be as pleased as I am that you found the same wisdom and insight in that document that I did.
Wish we could have talked while he was still here. But then, I was certainly too young and uneducated on the issues to have made much sense of his wisdom at the time.
