You should read the Bible - it’s full of good sex scandals - Jesus great, great, great etc grandmother Rahab, the woman Jesus let off the hook when she was about to be stoned, the woman who washed Jesus’ feet with her tears and hair - all scandalous for the King of the Universe.
This poor man and woman - they had so much to offer and something so simple, so ancient is forcing them to look at their brokenness. When are we going to face our own brokenness? When are we going to start treating these people with compassion instead of contempt?
