40 + 23 + 7 = 70%
70% of smartphone users do not use iPhones.
And this chart is useless as it doesn’t even factor in Android, a future Windows Mobile 7 or heck did the makers of this graph ever hear of Symbian?

And that's 30% in a market they had nothing at all in -- at the end of June 2007, whereas the others had been there prior to Apple's iPhone entry.
In addition (and in the same manner as some are saying now) -- back then there were pundits that said it was going nowhere and would be a flop. And instead it turned into one of the wildest successes in the market.
