Thanks for the explanation. Cannot say it’s true for Elin but I have seen blond women I thought sure looked “born that way” with seemingly dark roots. You have the answer.

In some photos Elin has hair that looks plated together and stuck together which is a sign of using hair coloring. Lots of women get that stuck together effect and would look prettier if they skipped the coloring. In other words some hair takes to coloring better than others. If you can pull it off then do it. But cheap looking dye jobs .....

I simply cannot understand why apparently so many people were fascinated with or loved Tiger Woods. I admit I did not read most stories about him. But from what I saw he was nothing special except for his golf game. He seemed dull in the commercials.

Often you can tell in person if the person is a natural blonde. I am and my hair dresser tells me while natural blondes have more strands of hair on their head, it is finer. So when a 'dirty blond' (blond's hair darkens a bit comparatively as they age, but are still very blond compared to brunettes etc.) gets lighter highlights or bleached then they look blond naturally. However brunette's hair will not be as fine and when even a hint of roots come in you can tell not only because of the color, but the comparative coarseness that they are not a natural blond.

Also light and shadows falling on blond hair and days gone with out a wash (the oils settle on the hair to give it a darker appearance) can register a bit darker color in pictures. You can also often tell by skin color if the woman is a natural. Much of this is hard to decipher in pictures.

Elin is clearly a natural blond (although she may get highlights to enhance the lightness especially now after the children.)

My guess is that Kate Moss is a brunette.

I’ll say more but....take a better look at Elin. She definitely shows dark roots in some photos. Blond hair is made of thinner individual hairs but coloring it thickens it. Sometimes to point of the hair plating together and sticking together. Elin shows this too (from my looking at her)
