Btw, this is actually good evidence for black holes. Stars seen in radio waves at the core of our galaxy, orbiting something with about 4 million solar masses, based on their orbital periods. The only thing that would fit that description is a supermassive black hole.

It may be that a black hole’s purpose is to keep a ‘chain reaction’ from happening at the center of the galaxy, by absorbing the intense radiation.
