NOPE. Ventura was NEVER a SEAL for one second in his life. He was in UDT, not SEAL Team, at a time when SEALs were taking casualties in Vietnam. He could have put in a chit for a transfer, but he didn't. The closest he came to combat was brawling with whores and strippers in San Diego and the P.I. He's a braggart and a liar.

The closest he can come to saying he was a SEAL is to say, "SEALs and UDT were the same." and that's another big fat lie. SEALs were running combat patrols in VN, while UDTs were doing lead line platoon floats on ARGs, preparing for the next WW2-style beach invasion that never came.
