It was a stupid post, it was about foreign policy and politics and it was a poor excuse for discouraging American boys from serving their country and denying themselves the title of veteran and patriot.

How the heck is not asking our sons and daughters to be used as meat for the grinder by an incompetent, no, scratch that - anti-American commander in chief, how is that a stupid post? It is a matter of conscience, whether you agree or not. But right now you’re just being a reactionary.

Serving in the armed forces doesn’t automatically guarantee you that one is a patriot. I’m sorry. I’ve been there. A lot of people serve for a lot of different reasons. For many, it’s a glorified welfare-to-work program. They could give a rat’s behind about patriotism.
