A lot of folks fought in the 1940s under left wing FDR. So they should have not served and let Japan and Germany take over. Sure, that would work....Not
There is no comparison between WWII and now. During WWII, there was a very real threat to the very existence of the country AND FDR was all for fighting the war - he wasn't going to hamstring US soldiers with idiotic rules of engagement, prosecute soldiers for doing their jobs, and leave soldiers in heavy combat zones understaffed while he takes his sweet ass time deciding whether or not to reinforce them, nor did FDR go on a world tour apologizing for every military endeavor the US was ever engaged in.
Obama is not, in any way, interested in the security and well being of the US. He will let US soldiers die needlessly if it helps him politically. If I were a young man thinking of enlisting, I'd damn sure wait until Obama was out of office. Why, then, shouldn't someone thinking of re-enlisting consider waiting until Obama is out of office? Our part in Iraq is pretty much over, and Obama is not going to do what it takes to win in Afghanistan. We'll be lucky if he doesn't get all of our guys over there killed. Serving there now will not help the US as long as Obama is running the show. Besides, the biggest threat to the US is not in Afghanistan, at the moment. Guess where it is.

What in the hell do you think the IslamOfascists are.
AT least in WWII the enemy wore uniforms, there were front lines in battle. If the enemy were to hit the US. then,
it would take days.
Now, the enemy is dressed as your neighbor, weapons now take seconds.
I terrorists who flew into the Pentagon on 9/11 lived here in San Diego as did their Imam, Anwar al-Awlaki who grad. from San Diego St. Univ.
This same Imam later was the same for the Ft. Hood killer
and who moved back to the Middle East and who the Ft. Hood killer was e mailings over the months.
