As a Penn State alum and donor, I’m curious to know whether Michael Mann will be resigning as well. He appears to be every bit as culpable as Phil Jones.

Mann is an ambitious climber who hitched his wagon to the wrong horse. He seems to have left the university in Mass. to go to Penn State after having to make a rapid retreat from a position that his superior gave a mild hand slap for.
When he began his affiliation with Jones he was just an assistant associate professor.
One would expect that it is grounds for firing a scientist for falsifying data, even one with tenure.
Sen Imhofe called him discredited today for his Hockey Stick claim on the Kudlow Report...the stand in for Kudlow challenged Imhofe on that and I believe he mentioned he was an advisor to the President....Imhofe didn’t back down.
Indeed. And he has the distinct disadvantage of living in the USA. He received one of Inhofe's letters. He could go to jail. I think (and I hope) that his career is over.
