I have simply stated that scripture cannot stand on its own in the calculation of pi. Inference and context are necessary. Scripture, therefore, is not literally inerrant.

LOL you demand that the bible states that pi=3. Since YOU already agree that the measurements used are NOT accurate, it is invalid for you to CLAIM that the bible is lying here. You cannot justify your claim by the text or any other logical measurement methodology. Once again, from the context, non-Christian, non-apolgists at purplemath CONFIRMED that the description is accurate and does produce an accurate estimation.
