Actually, you didn’t answer the question. Besides, the Church of Rome does not require adherence to the literal truth of the bible.

Are Catholics Christian? No bifurcation allowed.

Evasion such as yours can be a defense to mask stupidity, you know.

Is it in your case?

Wow, density such as yours has to be on purpose or by design, otherwise you really are a balthering fool.

ONE MORE TIME, in case the latter is the situation you are in.

I SAID:

To which Catholics are you referring? Are you referring to the ones who follow the teachings and dogma of the blessed and Holy Faith of Rome that holds the Bible as the true and correct word of God?

I am quite sure the former are some of the best examples of the Christian faith out there....

So the obvious and clear answer is YES, CATHOLICS, at least those practicing their faith in accordance with the dictates of the Church ARE CHRISTIAN and very much so.

As far as the rest, I would suggest a return to Catechism class, perhaps with a Priest from Rome this time.

Whilst there are some allegorical elements, the truth of the Bible is very much a part of the Catholic faith, and the idea that it is not is a charge made against them by less knowledgeable outsiders all too often.

(of course you will not read this post, or ignore it's contents all together and blather on with more mindless drivel and contradiction, but I am glad I got a chance to answer for the serious among us.)
