Yes, but several people started asking me questions because I said the Mormons I have known have been very good, kind, responsible people.
The Mormons I have encountered have been the same. But I never grew up in the Mormon faith and never knew any in more than a casual acquaintance type relationship.
So, yes, they can come across that way, with their family values and Mormon Tabernacle Choir and all, but I do trust the word of those who grew up as Mormon, and in the Mormon church.

It is funny. The LDS I knew before I joined were nice, sweet, helpful, seemed very good, etc. Part of the reason I (and many others) was drawn to them .
Then AFTER I became LDS, these same people changed toward me, they became condecending, demanding, even cruel, and predatory. I am not talking a few people, I am talking about all of them.
The whole time I was counseled to “avoid the appearance of all evil”, because we had to put on “a good front” (exact words of my Bishop) for non members and those thinking of joining the LDS church.
Then after I left, they all dropped me like a hot potato, even to the point of starting lies about me in the neighborhood.
Beware, some of that “nicey niceness” is a front to get people interested in the LDS Church.

Rather than play the fool following that embarrassing post where you showed that you think that Romney and Palin surfaced at the same time here, why not look into the Romney threads from 2006 until Mccain won the nomination in 2008, that was when freerepublic was most active with Romney discussions.
As a conservative site, freerepublic is an official anti-Romney site as well.
So when did you first hear of Palin, I noticed that you did not answer that, you only gave one of those romneybot smart ass, cracks.
