She’s also more direct than Palin has been lately.

I just can’t get over that question she was asked about grading Obama, giving him 4.

It’s been bugging me ever since. The fact that she wouldn’t give him Zero tells me that she’s either afraid or been talking with consultants.

Talk me off the ledge please, but I will not be sucked into supporting a milk-toast, half-conservative ever again. We need straight, unafraid talk to go along with “conservative principles”

You must be patient. He has 3 more YEARS in office. He has many supporters who will not be supporters in 3 years. She must not alienate them in year one. A four is pretty bad, imho....

A 5 would be 50%; still an F by any measure.

A 6 would be 60%; a D.

Palin gave him a 4.

That shows that she is reasonable and thought about the question objectively rather than giving a partisan hack answer like “zero”.

“Zero” might have been a bread and butter answer for conservatives; but do you think a Presidential candidate (and I think she is one) can win with JUST conservatives?

A “four” sounds reasonable and moderate - while still giving a failing grade; for all those ‘reasonable’ moderates out there who don't like MOST of what Obama is doing, but may actually like the guy and SOME of what he is doing.

4 isn’t good. She may have been thinking “well, I don;t want to say 0 or 1 and come off as totally extreme”. But still, 4 is pretty bad. I do wish Walters had asked “so what has he done to merit the 4?” I wouldn’t read too much into it.

And this Jolie story is all from a “source”. I don’t think she’s said anything publicly.

Still, if she is becoming wary of Obama, I say the GOP should do all it can to cultivate that. We could use more “cool” supprters, or at least more “cool” Obama enemies. She doesn’t even have to supprt the GOP, just being against him is enough. Maybe John Boehner can stage a Tomb Raider marathon one night.
