gotta love the Ducks!!!!! The civil war with Oregon State on December 3rd will determine which team from Oregon goes to the Rose Bowl. Should be an awesome night of football in Eugene!

Being a UF graduate, the SEC Championship game with ‘Bama has me very worried!

Now that a separate championship game has been established isn't 'Bowl Championship Series' a misnomer if not an outright fraud? NO bowl game will ever again determine the national champion so there is no 'bowl championship' to say nothing of a series.

Like all kludges this one fails to fully satisfy any one party but of course protecting the status quo or something very close to it was the objective all along. NCAA basketball teams can essentially drop out of school for the entire month of May but hypocritical presidents moan about the prospect of 1 or 2 additional football games? Ridiculous.
