It depicts a classic, hovering, silvery, saucer shaped UFO shining beams of light down on John the Baptist and Jesus. What could have inspired the artist to combine these two subjects?

The ONLY good puzzle piece I have other than Ezekiel and his chariot . . . related to any sort of such craft . . . is
Jesse DuPlantis’ DVD/Book about his somewhat extended trip to Heaven and the almost incidental side note that he came and went in a kind of capsule . . . I had the impression a sort of gondola or some such without the wires.
I am skeptical that God’s side NEEDS such craft . . . on the other hand, Christ didn’t NEED boats on the sea of Galilee . . . but HE TENDED to use them.
