WOW!! My hubby and I JUST watched “When the Earth Stood Still” tonight, except it was the crummy recent one with Keanu Reeves who sounded a lot like his Neo character in “Matrix”. Not too much of an acting stretch for him. These aliens, however, were going to kill all the humans because, with so few habitable planets in the universe, we were destroying this one (enviro whacko theory). The original one was at least about the real dangers humans create with nuclear weapons.
