Hey, they had prosthetic toes, what more do they want. A big problem for older Egyptians (who were probably wealthy, or they’d not have lived so long) was tooth abscesses brought on by excessive tooth wear from eating the bread made with flour containing bits of stone from the grinding of the grain.

Somewhere, I have the article of the prosthetic toe. I showed it to my podiatrist, and if it had not not been in an “accepted” mag, I think he would have dissed me.

I’ve seen lots of documentaries that contain tooth abscesses. Makes me glad I live in the day of penicillin!!

Perhaps the grinding mill was invented because of the abscesses?

(Just axin’...)
