How so? Dobbs to me always seemed like a tired Republican, who epitomized the party first attitude that became tired during the 70's. He seems out of touch as well. I'd throw him in the same mix with Romney, Huckabee, Giuliani.

Well, certainly Huckabee has a radio/TV show. But I'm not alluding to the fact that Dobbs is going to run for any office.

He does have a large media following and is far more conservative than CNN cares for. As such, IF he shows up on FOX, it may cause a re-allignment of the other folks on that station. Should be fun to watch if it does happen.

IMHO....

Dobbs didn't exactly say "no" to O'Reilly last evening when asked if he would run for a NJ senate seat.

He was more conservative than CNN would rather him be, but I still don't get if he shows up on FOX how or why that would cause re-alignment. Are you suggesting Dobbs presence would turn the station more conservative? I don't see that at all. In fact as far as pundits go, I'd put him in the Geraldo camp at FOX. Give them a show together and call it "Stuffy Old Moustache".
