Sorry, but the "giggle factor" can't be set aside. The whole premise is a joke constructed by those who take sick pleasure in mocking Christians.

You would have fit in quite well with Europeans 1000 years ago. They never thought the world was larger than Europe, Asia and Africa.

IMHO, there is a multitude of life in the universe. And it doesn't diminish my faith one bit.

Now go reread the entire article. Do you not understand the reason for the glib premise? And did you not pick up that condescending tone the Timesonline reporter keeps using?

You're being mocked. But I'm glad it doesn't diminish your faith one bit.
