SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Intel Corp. will pay Advanced Micro Devices $1.25 billion as part of a settlement of "all outstanding legal disputes," capping what had turned into a protracted and costly battle between the world's biggest makers of personal computer chips, the companies said Thursday.
