And you are surprised - why?
Tell them you won’t watch their garbage any longer. And then stop watching their garbage.
With the exception of some DVD’s and VCR tapes, my televison has been off since the digital switchover. Never bothered to get a converter box, and don’t intend to.
I knew there was a reason I never watched that show
and I am about ready to stop watching Law and Order
for the same reason.
This week McCoy said speaking of the pharmaceutical companies “and that’s the reason we can’t
get a decent health care bill in this country”
They had managed to become the #1 network show over four or five years while being entirely non-political.
I figured they might want to emulate success...
I guess I shouldn’t give libtards so much credit.
hate saying this but unless you have sports on all the time with the sound-off, or you watch an endless loop of the “Left Behind” movies, you will get subtle and not so subtle anti-conservative digs.
I’ve learned to deal with it.
Insidious writers..and sponsors. I stopped watching network anything awhile ago, save the recent World Series. I can watch noncommercial movies instead. Or Fox.
These two incidents are the first smattering of political garbage (some of the previous plots have been hokey, but never political).
I figured I can afford to give them a warning that the political crap is unwanted before I simply pull the plug on what has been a (rare) enjoyable show.
“This week McCoy said speaking of the pharmaceutical companies ‘and thats the reason we cant
get a decent health care bill in this country’”
Apparently he’s reading a copy of the script from six years ago. Insurance companies are the enemy now, McCoy, not Big Pharma. Get “with it”!
I know about the digs - but was surprised by the new political tone on what was once a very good show.
I’ve learned to deal without many shows I once enjoyed - and I’m coming close to simply canceling all television access in my house (I’m a father of three, too).
I’m on the edge of simply watching nothing - canceling satellite TV and not bothering with an antenna.
I don’t watch much of any sports any more.
Get a grip. They were throw-away lines by likable characters, and the context was not negative. NCIS is one of the only shows that can be considered somewhat right of center. It’s the least PC show on TV and actually depicts Muslim terrorists and has a Mossad agent as a major, sympathetic character!
Do we really want to be as thin-skinned as the libtards?
That was one of my favorite shows. WAS!
If they can’t deliver without their propaganda, they’re gone.
They’re not happy til they screw a show up, then they blame it on someone or something else.
Pathetic idiots.
Agreed - the flaming libtards forget that their job is to produce entertaining shows, and decide instead they should produce unentertaining political diatribes.
I don’t know why people are surprised, this is all part of the White House/NEA collaboration — Glenn Beck has been all over this story for weeks, as has Big Hollywood....
I once enjoyed watching Law and Order until a few years back when they started getting political and bashing Conservatives. I knew then i had to quit. so i did.
I noticed - but decided to ignore it - at least they are being mentioned - the President, et al are not.
Is NCIS the show with Mandy Patinkin in it? I loved him in Princess Bride and the Dead Like Me series, but am not terribly thriled with his acting in his current series.
If that’s the show, I catch it sometimes and it’s okay, but not great. Easily something I could boycott and not wonder about what I’m missing.
