See 91, I’ve been in countless clinics on military bases in my day and can’t recall any time where there were no armed personell present, both during daytime and nighttime visits.

Yep the doctors and nurses and staff are not armed, but I can’t think of a time in any of them where I was in a clinic where at lest one MP wasn’t on premises dealing with a “patient” for one cause or another.

Lets also note, if the reports continue this guy wasn’t using 2 semi pistols, he had 1 semi and 1 non-semi, 40+ folks shot with semi and revolver before he’s confronted? Even with a dual clip I’m having a hard time with the facts as presented at present. They just aren’t passing the smell test of my experiences.

On all of the Military Bases/Installations I’ve been on the only times I saw personnel who were armed was at the base/installation entrance or within security areas, or LE in vehicles as they drove on patrol. In experiences I’ve never been to any building related to business or medical that had armed personnel outside the building (there was security at the hospitial) or within the building (hospital excluded). It appears from what I’ve read that the shooter opened up within a room inside a building when the shooting first started. There were no armed personnel in that room based on all documented reports, other than the shooter. Reloading a semi-auto pistol doesn’t take long, and the weapon used would accept clips of 30 rounds. He would not have had any problems with firing off the number of rounds he did before LE arrived - people under fire (even those who have been in a forward combat area) would understandable be dazed, confused, and disoriented (who would have even thought they might be under fire at that location?). Perhaps he did not act alone. But, based upon all released information to date, there is no evidence to suggest otherwise. I do believe that this attack was a pre-mediated act of terrorism, though.
