"Managing unauthorized access to firearms, particularly KIDS. Just some basic tips about securing firearms so that only YOU have access to them. Not a comprehensive safety video"
A few easy to apply common sense tips to secure your firearms from little ones and ideas on dealing with their curiosity about guns.

THat is the same gun safe I have. It is a great safety device and I highly recommend them.
Cute and impressive. No worries about her being around a firearm.
Ill go out on a limb here and say that most problems with kids and guns is more about parental lack than safe storage. Mostly kids are driven by curiosity and being w/o any clue they wind up in a bad situation when guns are in the mix. This is why parents who take an active role in teaching them about gun safety and shooting do themselves a big favor that no amt of ‘safe’ storage can provide. It certainly satisfies the curiosity factor but also gives concrete knowledge of why guns need to be handled w/ safety in mind. It teaches responsibility and demonstrates a willingness to be trusted. Kids respond positively to those sorts of overtures. In my experience kids brought up on guns and safety had no desire to play w/ them outside of their parents supervision. In fact ‘play’ wasn’t a concept they associated w/ guns. Clearly there are exceptions but I suspect they’re minute in comparison.
AMEN!!!
Teach your children about guns early on, and they will respect them, and know they’re not toys!
It worked for our kids...
Bingo!!
Exactly! I grew up around guns, and never felt the need to ‘play’ with them. Growing up in the country, I had my first firearm at age 11 or 12, and would go shooting on a daily basis without supervision. (had to take a hunter safety course before my father would let me shoot alone.)
Mine too... :)
