Thanks for the ping but I'm not watching. Man-eating Lizards from space is not my idea of good Sci-fi. I'd rather watch Kirk fight the Gorn a thousand times than watch this rehashed series that wasn't so good the first time.

Please reconsider. I remember the original series, too. This is a lot better. And it's unbelievably relevant.

The aliens promise "Universal Health Care". Yes, they even used those words.

And they invite a reporter to do a live interview. As he is setting up, they condition it that any question can only portray the aliens favorably -- or the interview is cancelled.

They got unbelievably lucky that the "war" between the White House and Fox News broke out only a couple of weeks ago.

As I said, man-eating Lizards from space is not my idea of good Sci-fi. It does not matter to me how relevant the show may be. I'm more of a "wagon train to the stars" kind of viewer.
