Thing is , I want Windows 7 Ultimate and they don’t offer it pre-installed on the less expensive models . Need Ultimate for multi-lingual usage .

I believe they do. You pick a model and then start to personalize it. When you get to selecting the OS, pick the one you want. I just went there and they offer a desktop for $269+$150 for the OS you want. See how that compares to the more pricey models with W7U included.

Dell used to custom build systems not listed, but you had to ask for the service. Maybe that is only for business customers.
Also you might be able to get a free upgrade to Win 7 Ultimate if you can only get one with Vista Ultimate installed. But I would check to make sure if Dell is doing that now. I know Sony has that deal now that you get an upgrade by mail.
