Breitbart CHOSE Glenn Beck’s program to break that video and to introduce their new biggovernment.com website. He didn’t ‘borrow’, ‘steal’, or do anything else but be the first to air the video. And they played the audio on Glenn’s radio show BEFORE the video was made available online at Breitbart’s new site. Get a clue.

great video....what concerns me is that considering all that has happened in such a short period of time, there may be nothing left to take back in 2010....if there even are elections in 2010. IMO, they will stop at nothing to keep the majority.

Beck “thought” it came from Andrew Breitbart !?

Beck has TV, Breitbart is the one breaking the news.

Timeline:

September 10, morning: Breitbart’s BigGovernment.com posts ACORN video. At 6:10 a.m. ET, O’Keefe posted the video on BigGovernment.com

September 10, evening: Beck airs video, credits Breitbart and BigGovernment.com. On his Fox News program at 5 p.m. ET, Beck interviewed Giles and credited Breitbart for starting the story. From Glenn Beck:

BECK: “I talked to you on the radio program earlier today. I encouraged you not to expose yourself anymore. I think that you are a very courageous person. I think — I think your partner in crime here, or exposing crime, is also courageous.

I THINK Andrew Breitbart — this comes from Big Government — you can find all of this on BigGovernment.com. I saw this on Saturday, and I was amazed at your courage.”

My sister lives in another state, chooses not to buy satellite and cable (the biggest money makers, not Insurance companies or oil companies), so she calls every day and listens to my t.v. over her Phone, only to Glenn Beck!

It’s hard to substantiate a lot of things, because Beck’s archive only goes back 30 days, but I’m looking into finding more.

Here’s how it goes: Biggovernment.com is nothing but a placeholder until September 10. Sometime that day, the video is launched and Hannah Giles publicizes it on Glenn Beck’s radio program at 9am. The story on biggovernment.com does have a timestamp of 6:10 am, but I do vividly remember knowing that bg.com was going to launch and waiting for the video, which I think showed up just AFTER Glenn played the audio during the Giles interview.

Either way, you are insinuating that Beck is somehow stealing the work of others, when all of the people we are discussing here were working TOGETHER to publicize this video. They ALL did a masterful job of marketing it and they are not in competition. Using your logic, we should be deriding Breitbart for showing the video when it really was the work of O’Keefe and Giles.

I’m trying to find video of it, but I believe Breitbart or one of the representatives of one of his sites was on Beck’s show on the 8th or 9th to help hype the launch. I remember thinking of how much they were hyping the crap out of biggovernment.com at the time.

If my memory serves me correctly I did not witness Beck giving kudos to Breitbart every time his show ran with Breitbart`s story.

Nor do I recall Breitbart being on Beck`s TV show very much during the ACORN expose, if at all.

Beck seems to accept the accolades without properly attributing the source very much.

I understand that the media is about ratings and publicity, and they all do some extent of self-promotion.

But lately Beck is taking it to a level that makes me uncomfortable. I'm starting to feel like one of P.T. Barnum's suckers following the sign that says "this way to the egress".

You’ve got to be kidding. Hannah Giles herself was on Beck’s radio program with this. Breitbart even gave him the exclusive on the second and I think third videos before they did the next one with Hannity.

Here’s the video of Glenn interviewing Giles. Notice the ‘video debuted on biggovernment.com in big freakin’ white letters during the interview (at 2:31 and REPEATED AT 3:19):

And you can really tell that Breitbart is really upset when he appears on Beck’s program on 9/12 when Beck credits him for ‘leading the way’ on all of the stories he’s broken:

Beck wasnt born in 1935, so perhaps he is unaware in that year the leftist National Education Association promoted a summer school held in Moscow, Russia, at which commissars (czars) were to teach and DID teach hundreds of American teachers. Some of the biggest names in American Education including now deceased John Dewey were sponsors of that school along with such members of the mass liberal media as Edward R. Murrow who later dispensed pro-Soviet disinformation.
