Technically the English (the Plantagenet faction) won most or all the multiple wars of the 100 Years War until Joan of Arc turned up. After which the English fortunes waned and we were eventually forced to quit fair France.
Of course if Kerry had been there he would have sold out Joan of Arc and then given evidence to the US Senate about her "murderous rampage, reminiscent of Jengis Khan". And then we would have had to 'SwiftGalley' him.

Let seen I had one hit on the family surname
Rank: Archer
Year: 1401
Nature of Activity: Garrison
Could be a match considering we already trace the family surname back thirteenth generation to an ancestors in Parish of All Hallows County of Kent, England, who died in 1485...

Apparently my ancestors didn't fight in the 100 year war.
I searched under surname for paternal and maternal with all spellings but got no hits.

Too many hits for me to narrow it down, and I only searched one of the family names. I sent the link to my dad who’s very into all that.

I’ve got one, an archer, under Richard FitzAlan, Earl of Arundel. Described as a naval expedition?

I found 4 individuals with my mother's maiden name serving under the same earl. All went to France, all were archers. Maybe that explains the compound bow in my closet?

So now I can find out if any of my ancestors was part of the “Band of Brothers” at Agincourt. Or backed Talbot at the siege of Harfleur.

LOL!
Actually, they're behaving nicely - of late.
One of the reasons I find history so fascinating, my (Scandinavian lineage) father stormed in at Normandy with the second wave, perhaps his ancestors did a little looting and plundering there about 1150 years previously?
