The government should have never been in the marriage business in the first place. Since marriage includes a legal
merger of two people, just have the government grant them a business partnership for the purposes of property ownership and our beloved taxes. Let the churches do the marriage ceremonies. This would truly separate church and state as it was intended.

People who clamor for “Separation of Church and State” in most cases what they really want is “Separation of Values and State.”

Parental rights stem from the marriage contract in common law. If there is no marriage, it would be very easy for the state to claim wardship of all children.
This is nothing more than a leftist ploy for total control of children from birth.

I agree. Government should not be involved. Maybe thats why 50% of all marriages fail. Alimoney is BS too. If you havent guessed yet, Molemans wife of 17 years is leaving....
