From all the “how many legalisms can dance on the head of a pin” arguments, it seems as though basic Constitutional verites mean nothing now. All that matters is who the Big Dog is. And if the Big Dog became big due to fraud, lying, theft, or any other crimes, it doesn’t matter.
We have ceased, then, being citizens and are now subjects.
I agree that the evidence for Obama’s natural born status was not settled before the election.
I also agree that no one has yet proven that he is not qualified. Proof is a very solid thing, and all we have at this point is a lot of circumstantial evidence. No one has been able to put the capstone on it. Proof would require a smoking gun, and it hasn’t yet turned up.
