I am so sorry for your loss, how awful! I am very scared my mother is headed down the same road, she is not a smoker but keeps getting heavier and heavier, now has diabetes, mild kidney disease, high blood pressure and has had knee surgery on both knees. I already lost my dad 4 years ago, I fear she is next. :(
