I did not remember it until now. I also loved the Dukakis sketches - the debate one and the one where he knows he is losing and has a Playboy style night show with Willie Horton and a drunk Ted Kennedy hitting on his wife.

I can recall Lovitz as Dukakis repeatedly alluding to his Greek heritage, with references to olive oil, fetta cheese, and such. Also, when Carvey went off on one of his wacky rants, Lovitz getting big applause with the punchline, “I can’t believe I’m losing to this guy.”
Oh, and lest I forget, they had a 10 year-old play Quayle. Which was fine, because they mocked Dukakis and Bentsen plenty. Unlike now, when the best the can do with Obama is to say he’s too cool.
