Summary of new History Channel (cable) show outlining attack on Washington DC with small nuclear weapon and the response to it
Day After Disaster
Against a morning sky, a mushroom cloud spirals heavenward. A nuclear bomb has detonated in the heart of Washington D.C., incinerating 15,000 residents in just 15 seconds. More than 50% of the population living within a 1/2 mile radius of the explosion is either dead or severely injured. The next 24 hours will determine whether the rest of the city lives or dies. To survive this horrific ordeal they will need a plan. And lucky for us--there is one. But will it work? For the first time on television, the Department of Homeland Security reveals the most detailed and comprehensive plan to save America should terrorists go nuclear. This chilling two-hour special delves into the complex and highly secretive world of disaster planning.

The Redskins won’t have to worry about coming in dead last in the NFC East.
"Then.....out of a nearby telephone booth, resplendent in blue tights and red cape.....steps SuperBarack!!"
....he calls a few meetings, checks the polls, then decides that fixing a nuclear explosion would be "hard" and "It's Conservatives' Fault anyway", so he packs up the kids to head to Martha's Vineyard for an extended vacation....
Well you know the IRS has plans to collect taxes even after a nuclear exchange.
It’s ON!
Bomb just went off in front of the Capitol Building...1/2 mile blast circle of vaporized buildings, 15,000 dead or wounded.
White House damaged severely...there is no Congross left.
EMP Pulse...3mile radius...everything goes dead.
Thousands of commuters go blind from looking at the blast...
