Many books and films done by libs are scattershot, anecdotal observances only tenously connected to the subject at hand. I remember reading part of Al Franken’s book, “Rush Limbaugh Is A Big Fat Idiot”, and observing the same things in Franken’s book as in Moore’s books and films. They’ll start talking about a particular subject (poverty, etc) and make non-sequiturs supposedly “proving” their point. Franken wrote in his book that Rush makes fun of poor people, but just look at how fat Limbaugh is. Actually Rush has always described the conditions that make people poor, but Franken thought that pointing out Rush’s weight “proved” his theories about poverty wrong. Same thing with the Moore book I read. Snide (and usually false) remarks substituting for reasoned analysis.
When your audience consists largely of snide, fake people, you can get away with that.
