“Either you “know, or don’t know”, belief has nothing to do with it.”
The above statement was also made by the Swiss Psychiatrist Carl Jung during a BBC interview when asked if he believed in God. Not in those exact words though.
So how is this for a conspiracy theory....
Now I can’t say this for a certainty, just food for thought....the UFO phenomenon was used by the Soviets as part of their propaganda and Subversion in the Western World to weaken peoples belief in Religion and make it easier to change the culture and make it more receptive to Marxism.
This theory is just as plausible if not much more so, as some of the theories I’ve read explaining UFOs. Again, just food for thought.
NO. Not a conspiracy “theory.”
When the proffs are piled as high in as many warehouses as this bunch of stuff has . . . “theory” went out the window a long time ago.
Just because a lot of silly idiots aren’t interested in accepting the evidence—far less than folks go to the gas chamber on . . .
that’s THEIR problem.
I'd call that reaching and weak ... why on earth would you or anyone else conclude that UFOs would negate God and weaken people's religious faith? Especially when the opposite could quite possibly happen and people's faith become strengthened in the face of such chaos? Sounds more like rationalizing than theorizing.
Here's another theory: World governments have supressed and are supressing evidence in order to avoid mass world panic, and you, dear otherwise level-headed and sensible EAGLE, would be among the first to completely lose ALL sanity if it was suddenly revealed to you that indeed, UFOs are real.
The rest of us who have accepted and pondered the probability of their being real and all of its accompanying implications, would be the ones to keep our heads. You are the one making yourself vulnerable. Those of us who comprehend that there is a whole lot more about the universe and our reality that we don't understand (paranormal phenomena, for example) than what we do, are in a way upholding the wise Boy Scout motto: "Be prepared."
You, on the otherhand, would be among those blindsided in the unfortunate event that these critters make themselves known to us in our lifetimes -- which I hope NEVER COMES TO PASS. I hope and pray that you, me, Sam, LV Dave, yaz, Quix, and all of the rest of us on this thread -- even the unpleasant Travis T. -- live to ripe, healthy, vital old age and die contented still having this argument, it being never resolved. I really do. You see, I really don't want to "believe," but then again, I don't want to "believe" the math that says the dollars in my checking account only add up to what they do.
But here's the deal: it isn't a matter of belief, it's a matter of common sense and being prepared.
