I cannot imagine that anybody would do such a thing! If the facts are as this article reports them, this is absolutely inexcusable. I don’t blame her for being angry. What could be more unprofessional, infuriating, unpardonable—unnecessary(!)—and downright mean???

But in actuality, this is not uncommon in the ‘hood.

In everyday conversation it’s f-this-f-that. Then the N-word is used so loosely, one would think it has no historical context.

I’m not defending the clerk [did anyone consider the clerk that wrote the note was a different clerk, different shift, than the one from the day before?] ...nor as you term unprofessional-ism.

Should it be that this station is located in an ethnic neighborhood, then the language used is not far from the truth.

You or I might not like “mean”. But that’s the way it is.

It’s not pretty. It’s there. And it’s in your face.
