After finishing my sight-in, I tried putting holes in paper at 50 yards, the range's maximum. I'm hoping my use of Nanolube on the trigger will improve things, or someone comes up with a unitized match trigger.
As things stand now, I can hold the trigger pull at its second "stop" of seven pounds. This then lets me take the shot with some chance of accuracy when pressure reaches eight pounds. However, it really wrecks my concentration.
This is what I was able to do using the technique with one 30-round magazine. The two fliers are a result of me getting bored with this rather involved method of shooting.
I hope I can improve on these modest experts with a better trigger.
Eight pound trigger on the ACR?! Sheesh.... I certainly HOPE the NanoLube helps!... or that somebody comes up with a better trigger you can replace it with!
