O'Reilly just turned my stomach. I really thought that the guy was worth watching at times but it seems that O'Reilly supports having the government compete with the private sector. Where he finds that power in the Constitution I have no idea.

So O'Reilly wants the same government that regulates the industry to also compete within the industry. This guy is a compete idiot and has no sense of morality.

I just had to spout off. I couln't believe what I just heard. Sorry about the vanity.

Here’s the serious, honest-to-goodness truth.

If no one *watched* this POS, he’d vanish.

Do your part? Please?

I missed his show tonight so missed that comment but am not surprised. The only thing I like about his show is the body language lady and will listen IF he has someone like Michele Maulkin on. He is rude to Laura most of the time.
BOR has just turned into a bore of a gasbag Give his slot to Beck.

As Bill says again and again he’s not a conservative.

I’d call him a “populist” or “neo-populist” a vague enough term to describe his views.

Or you could call him Oreillttarian.

Or you could just call him a pompous jackass.

FNC needs to get BORe the f**k out of the network. With that time slot Beck would beat his ratings easily, and BORe would fail if another network signed him up.

Yeah, and he said something else that was really “out there” to Morris tonight. Does anyone remember? Wasn’t it about Acorn?

He has to disagree with every guest and he has to spout gbbledeegook in favor of Obama and the democrats in order to appear “even handed”.

This time he kept saying consumers should be able to buy any policy they want that fits their needs in the free market (good)but he kept adding that if they can’t do that and government can provide a place for this competition and can provide it then he is all for that too.

It made no sense because once you have the free market choices you don’t need government and government can’t do what he was describing (not too clearly).

O'really is a populist libertine.

15 years ago, he would have been labeled a traditional democrat. But today he is despised by the progressive socialists.

At times I think that in his effort to be so friggin fair, he often leans so far left I puke.

On average, when I do actually watch some of his show, I am cussing at the tv about 50% of the time, so I suppose his fair and balanced act is accurate. He does this intentionally and I would not let it bother you.

Like Barrack said, He's a Jackass.

O’Rielly called me an idiot once - I wear it as a badge of honor.

I emailed his show - and he always says to make it pithy - so I did. I called him insane on a particular issue. He read a portion of my comments on air and said I was an idiot.

I have never liked him. He is full of himself.

I think O’Reilly is a fence sitter and for the sake of a show and ratings he blows whichever way the wind blows. Just said today “I don’t get much out of him and can take or leave him”.

I read his book Bold Fresh and wasn’t so funny just showed him to be obnoxious for the sake of being so.

Said he’s never had a sip of liquor but maybe that would lighten him up. He talks over everyone much as all FOX hosts do and that gets boring....just nonsense!

Time to say goodbye Bill.

I'm an O'Reilly fan mainly because he does look out for the kids. I've defended him many times, even on this forum. But I have to say that ever since his election interview with Obama it seems O'Reilly has a soft spot for him. I don't get it. I *know* O'Reilly is smart enough to realize no company can successfully compete against the government. I *know* O'Reilly knows every program the government touches is rife with waste, fraud, and bankruptcy. I *know* O'Reilly knows we are smarter than to accept it; the Fox poll showed (as I recall) 98% of viewers oppose Obamacare. So what does he gain by pulling for Obamacare under the guise of "fair and balanced". I don't understand the advantage in that at all.

He also supports global warming legislation and legislation on what oil companies are allowed to make... he is no independent as he has claimed for years, his liberal side is coming our really bad since his Labor Day vacation... even my husband was yelling at the screen tonight.

...it seems that O’Reilly supports having the government compete with the private sector.

As I heard on a radio show today, no insurance company competes with the government for mandated flood insurance.

I frankly don’t care if he’s left, center, or right as long as he has something interesting on the show. The problem I have with him is that I rarely have any “takeaway” from the show, at least from him. His thinking is generally shallow, involving no real effort. He just tries to whip up populist sentiment. This is the problem with moderates, though. If they or the left really could think, they’d be conservatives. Any time anyone gets into any kind of thinking, BOR always says “it makes my head hurt.”
